Recently, this dialogue took center stage at the Crowne Plaza in Muscat, where our Maico Gulf team, in collaboration with Al Jassar Group, hosted a technical symposium dedicated to the evolving air distribution sector.
The event brought together over a hundred industry consultants and engineers, who gathered to explore the complex future of high-efficiency ventilation.

The session stood out because of the specific expertise shared by the team. Mr Sudeep Sethi, Mr Yash Sahani, Mr Nigil Sudharjanan, Mr Arun Thakur, and Mr Anuj Pandey led the discussions, moving past surface-level features to dive into the technicalities of high-performance ventilation. From explaining the mechanics of ecology units for a cleaner tomorrow to demonstrating CFD 3D modeling for enclosed car parks, the focus remained on transparency and data-driven results.

A significant portion of the seminar centered on the critical intersection of efficiency and safety. The team broke down the risks associated with live grease ducts and fire hazards, emphasizing why high-maintenance costs and frequent fan replacements aren’t just inconveniences, they are avoidable engineering failures.
Indeed, by showcasing real-world scenarios, the speakers provided the attending consultants with the tools to validate designs rather than just adhering to the bare minimum of standard guidelines.
