DESCRIPTION:
The TA-ATEX series ducted axial fans are specifically designed to operate in potentially explosive
environments, ensuring reliable and safe air movement where flammable gases or vapors may be
present. Certified by QPS according to ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and EN 14986/2024, these fans
meet stringent safety standards, making them ideal for applications in industries such as battery room
ventilation, oil and gas, chemical processing, and manufacturing. These fans are suitable for
installation in zones 1 and 2 where high & normal levels of explosion protection are required.

Engineered with special rub- ring of aluminium between impeller and fan casing for spark resistant
construction. Their robust construction and precise design allow them to perform safely in ambient
temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C.

These fans are available in various sizes and configurations to meet specific application requirements,
each featuring advanced safety mechanisms and efficient performance. These fans ensure compliance
with safety standards while delivering reliable airflow in potentially explosive atmospheres.

PRODUCT FACTS:
Casing – Double flanged casing is manufactured in mild steel.
Finish – Standard casing finish is HDG (Hot Dip Galvanizing) + Polyester powder coating.
Impellers – Adjustable pitch aerofoil impellers are provided with blades made from high quality
aluminium. Their aerodynamic profile guarantees high aeraulic performance and low noise level.
The hubs are manufactured from die-cast aluminium alloy. Assembled impellers are dynamically balanced as per standard AMCA 204/ISO 21940.
Rub-Ring – Rub -ring constructed of aluminium between the impeller and fan casing to reduce risk of spark.
Fan Terminal Box – ATEX certified terminal box made from aluminium alloy (SS 316 available on request).
Airflow Direction – Standard airflow direction is from Impeller towards motor.

MOTOR:
ATEX-certified explosion/flame proof, TEFC (Totally Enclosed, Fan cooled) type, with IE3 as standard motor efficiency.
IP55/56 protection with class F Insulation.
Available in gas group IIB or IIC.
